Our plywood is a wood based panel product consisting of an assembly of plies bonded together. The direction of the grain in adjacent plies is at right angles with the outer and inner plies placed symmetrically on each side of a central ply or core.
Our plywood is a wood based panel product consisting of an assembly of plies bonded together. The direction of the grain in adjacent plies is at right angles with the outer and inner plies placed symmetrically on each side of a central ply or core. We offer 3 product standards: JPIC standard, IHPA standard, and BS standards. These plywood standards can survive full exposure to weather for a few years. They withstand cold water for a long period of time and hot water for a limited time, but fail when exposed to boiling water. They are resistant to attack by micro organisms. Our British Standard plywood also offers additional properties which are highly resistant to weather, micro-organisms, cold, boiling water, wet and dry heat.
Film-faced panels are made using plywood with resin impregntaed film bonded to both surfaces.
Film-faced panels are made using plywood with resin impregntaed film bonded to both surfaces. Both our plywood products (WBP and MR) have followed the British Standard. Our WBP uses adhesives proven to be highly resistant to weather, micro-organisms, cred, boiling water, steam, and dry heat. On the other hand, our MR plywood has advantages in its durability, strength, workability, and resistance to warping. The type of adhesive bond used is Phenol Formaldehyde (PF).
Canang Indah's Particleboard is wood panel product which consisting discrete wood particles of various sizes that are bonded together with a synthetic resin or binder under heat and pressure.
Canang Indah's Particleboard is wood panel product which consisting discrete wood particles of various sizes that are bonded together with a synthetic resin or binder under heat and pressure.
As the particle geometry, resin levels, board density and manufacturing processes may be modified to produce products suitable for specific end users. At the time of manufacture, additives which been taken from one of our sister company of Tjipta Corporation, Belawan Deli, can be incorporated to provide greater dimensional stability and to improve other properties. The particles come primarily from planer shavings, edgings, sawdust and other process residuals.
Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF), a wood based sheet material manufactured from wood fiber bonded with synthetic resin adhesive, since first introduced in Europe in 1973 was readily accepted by the furniture industry as an alternative to solid wood for panels and components.
Machine ability and ease of finishing are just some of the premium properties of MDF. The surface is flat, smooth, dense and free from grain patterns, making finishing operations easier and consistently excellent. The homogeneous construction of Canang's MDF allows it easy to be mould, embossed, edge profiled, routed, painted, laminated, foiled, veneered or printed.
It is economical to use due availability in large sheet sizes, which allow optimum yield while trim waste is reduced. Canang's MDF is born to imaginative designer and craftsmen who take pride in the products they create.
Finger Joint Laminated Boards offer a solution to increase the shortage of solid timber panels.
Finger Joint Laminated Boards offer a solution to increase the shortage of solid timber panels. These strips are finger jointed after colour matching to the desired lengths and then edge coated with special resins which can withstand boiling water tests. Finger Joint Lamination add subtle contrasts, texture, and design to the surface of our rubberwood products which can not be found in natural solid timber.
The rubberwood for production Finger Joint Laminated Board is pressurized in Vacuum Impregnator with special chemical treatment inside and to be Kiln Dried also until achieve the specified moisture content.
This material is ideal for shelving, table top, counter top, kitchen top, flooring, staircase, and other panel applications.
